So, you know how the most recent LJ changes are just the first in their goal to completely redesign the site? Well apparently there exists a copy of what the site will look like once the transformation is complete, courtesy of the people behind the design process.

Yeah. I mean, just look at their design for the profile. I want to hide in a shell of cringiness. It's so sterile and busy and smooth and tries to hard. LJ WHY YOU DO THIS?

The worst is that the new comment section is going to roll out to S2 from what I heard. So all of these people who think "I've got S2, I can still use comment lines!!" Er, not for long, suckers.

That being said, I still have to fix my profile over here because it didn't transfer correctly. :P

Yup! It just hasn't hit the custom layouts yet, and that's one reason why a lot of people aren't panicing. Though, I have discovered that you can still use subject lines in the reply via email forms, so there's that. I don't know when that's being phased out.

Did you import it, or was it manual? And if you did import it and it futzed with something, you can file a service/support ticket so they can fix it so it won't happen to anyone else in the future.

Yeah, I saw the link to that last night. Also saw a link which described why certain people are getting headaches/migraines from the new comment page format. I already have eye issues and to have it described like it's the same effect as 3D, it makes TOTAL sense why I have that 3D headache I get when I try to watch something in 3D.

Do you have the link to that post? I haven't seen it and I'd lIke to share it since I'm enjoying archiving the continuing LJ!fail. That is a very interesting comparison to be made, but I totally get it, since I too have a history of eye issues and 3D headaches.
