aha! spoilers for Supernatural 7x01and the official promo for 7x02


I think I've figured out the underlying reason why I would absolutely love to see Hallucifer become a permanent part of Sam's brain. It's because he reminds me of John Crichton's Scorpius brain clone who drove him bonkers.
I have no idea why my brain up and made that connection, though, looking at it, I do think it's awfully similar; especially looking at next week's trailer. All that the SPN storyline needs is Hallucifer taking over Sam's body...(not that I'm sure I want that...)
I doubt they'll go that route, but it would make me bouncy-happy. Apparently I have a strange love for this whole plot line?
Anyone else see the similarities?

And yeah, I realize there are probably only two or three people on my flist who even know both shows, but ~whateva.

I see the similarities. (and yes I know both shows). I don't care what route they take - I was just excited to see Mark Pellegrino!!!

LOL tbh, this is all wishful thinking, I know. I'd love it if we got to see Mark all season long, but I don't know if they're gonna do it...either way, I was super excited to see him too! I had no clue he was gonna be a part of the season, so that was awesome. And he's just as good an actor as I've ever seen him.

Well, thinking about it logically (so not as a fangirl) for a moment... there's definitely something happening. My thoughts (I haven't read anything about this new season) are that 1.) Somehow Lucifer managed to recreate the body and come back? Can they do that? or 2.) Something else much bigger is taking his form and going after Sam or 3.) like he said, it's all a dream or 4.) Lucifer only exists in Sam's mind and all this farting around with hell and walls and whatever has finally broken something in his head (the Scorpius Complex)

I'm utterly spoiled, though I'm not sure if that has anything to do with my thoughts...but I feel like out of all the possibilities, 4 is the most likely. I can't see how they could pull the others off without some major retconning, which I don't think TPTB would want to do, not with fans already having walked away and more willing than ever to move on after S6 and what direction they're going in this year.
A theory I really tend to like is that somehow Lucifer managed to tack on some of his Grace into Sam's soul when Death got him from the cage and now he's hitched a ride in Sam's head. Which really sounds like something à la Scorpius.

Oooo! I had not even thought about that. I don't know, though. Michael always seemed a bit more straightforward than Lucifer i.e. willing to do whatever it took to get Dean and Adam, rather than Lucifer's slow-but-steady mind-games and "You'll always say yes"es.
I just can't picture him screwing with Sam's head the way I can easily see Lucifer doing it, you know?

perhaps not the Micheal that went into hell prison. BUT, he's been down there a while, stewing and warping. Plus he's got the influence of his meat suit who is a Winchester and let's face it, Winchester males have issues... I'm just saying... he's due for a return at some point.

I've heard, I think at SDCC, that they're not opposed to bringing back Adam, so it's very possible that Michael could very well make an appearance. I confess, that would be something I'd have never expected...and still something very within the real of what Supernatural does.

So far, from what I've seen, I'm really looking forward to it. I genuinely think it'll be pretty good. Maybe not on the same level as previous years, but I think TPTB have gotten used to the arrangements and have listened to what fans would like to see.
