So, I'm half-asleep, but who cares!?
Because I finally saw Sherlock! (The movie, not the show. No, my show download is still at half-way point, and, apparently tonight's ffa at
ontdspn_party is very echoy because everyone's busy watching it) We went and saw it and Mission Impossible again today. There's nothing quite like spending six hours at the theater.
And holy shit, that stuff is gayer than...um...a lot. Gayer than X-Men. The fanservice was ridic. But it also worked really well in the fact that the movie was awesome aside from that, on its own, which I hate to say is more than I can say for X-Men. In other news, Watson is a motherfucking badass. I mean, I always preferred him to Sherlock in books/tv/everything, but Jude Law was magnificent...and I managed to not like RDJ for once(so, excellent acting for sure).
At the scene where they fall into the waterfall, I was practically killing my brother, asking "DID THEY EVER MENTION THE NAME OF THE FALLS. THERE'S STILL A CHANCE THIS IS NOT WHAT I THINK IT IS. THERE'S STILL A CHANCE." And then it was. And I was freaking out, which, looking back, was stupid, because there's no way this is the last movie. Anyways, I was freaking out and getting very mopey. And then I wanted to hit Sherlock when he just showed up in the end there. Idiot.
I've only got one nitpick with the movie, and that, of course, is Irene. I refused to believe that she's dead, though, because we never actually saw it, outside of Moriarty's flaunting, and while I know lying isn't his style, I don't exactly trust everything he says. I liked that it made Sherlock show emotion and actually recognize that he cares about people, but I wish there was some hint that somehow she made it out alive. She's always been my favorite, so I really don't want her to be actually dead.
And, next up, Sherlock(the tv show)! Me and the brother are going to try to watch it together. As if we haven't watched enough already together today, LOL!

I didn't read the comment on the movie. Was it worth your time?
I totally understand spending hours watching movie, though, my sis and I are spending a lot of time this way during this holidays, lol. We even watched A-Team (which surprisingly we liked A LOT XD)

Oh, definitely. It's a great movie, IMHO.
Ooo A-Team! I've wanted to see that since it came out. It looks fun. But yeah, me and my brother spend a lot of time watching movies when we don't have school.

Loved that Mary actually got to be helpful and badass, loved that the movie went a little dark (THE HOOK KLASJALKJLA), loved the fact that I loved it just as much as the first.
Also totally agree about Irene. , even though I did like Naoomi Rapice's character much more than how Rachel McAdams played Irene, so I won't be too devastated if she doesn't come back.

I liked pretty much everyone. I was surprised that all the females got to be badass and awesome. It was all my best dreams come true.

Also: MORANNNNN. I love that he got away and gets to be the main villain in number 3 :D
I really hope Mary keeps being awesome and doesn't get swept aside for some reason.

oh, I know. At least she's been pretty consistent so far.

I really worry about this happening, considering what had happened to her by the time Holmes and Watson were reunited in the ACD stories.

Two: Mission Impossible was friggin' sweet. Even when in every Jeremy Renner scene I kept calling him Hawkeye.
Three: SO TENSE. THE WATERFALL. MORIARTY AND HOLMES' THINK-FIGHT. WATSOOON, OH WATSOOOON. THROWING MARY OFF THE TRAIN. MORAN AND THE GYPSY WOMAN AND HOLMES ON A PONY AND MYCROFT!
It was a fun movie. ^_^

Jeremy Renner is my new favorite actor. I'm veeeeery excited that he's gonna be in Avengers. He was one reason I loved MI enough to see it twice in the theater.
YESSSSSS BASICALLY. IT WAS SO AMAZING. ♥

I'm not convinced about Adler either. Moriarty never said she was dead just that it took her quickly... I don't want her to be dead. =[
Watson is a motherfucking badass. I mean, I always preferred him to Sherlock in books/tv/everything,
\o/ Same! People give me weird looks when I say that though..
Jude Law was magnificent
He was. He does snappy!Watson so well.
The new Sherlock ep is brilliant. You'll love it.
