I think they were very lucky when the got Emilia Fox because she does look a lot like Arthur. She had been dying her hair brown recently but she is a natural blonde so giving her the blonde wig and hair extensions was the way to go. They might have cast Alice because, again, she looks like both of them. There were definately some really good casting choices going on there.
