Just realized that the next week is not going to be fun. D:
Sunday I babysit all day. Monday I have the final draft of a research paper due. Tuesday has the midterms for basketball. Wednesday is more school testing as well as me going to see the last home game that night. Thursday...probalby will have a science or math test, since we're finishing a unit soon. Friday will be our first proper history test. And I probably start working for the church at some point next week too. On top of all that, y'all know I've been kinda wishy-washy lately with my emotions and depression and stuff.
WHY.
Ugh. I miss being homeschooled.

Somebody save me. Find a TARDIS. Except Calvin and Hobbes has taught me that that solution NEVER works.

On the upside, last night's Psych was awesome! I love all the homages. And I'm totally looking forward to next week.

Hey, I was also homeschooled! Up through 10th grade, anyway. Are you in public school now, or in college? Is this your big transition year?

I am always excited to find other homeschooled people. I think it's a whole lot more common than it used to be; people still looked at me (and my parents) really weird when I was growing up and we explained why I was at the library instead of in school.

And now I work in education. Go figure. :p

That's awesome! I love to meet fellow homeschooled people. When I was little, it was super rare, but it's gotten a lot more popular of late, so it seems less strange. My mother homeschooled all my siblings, so my older sisters(in their 30s) often get weird looks after telling people they were homeschooled, because, like you said, it used to be really weird and rare.
My story is kinda twisty; I was homeschooled all through school, but when I wanted to get a GED I found that there apparently were some gaps in my education. So I'm taking public school high school classes with an online school, as well as a couple college classes. I started this back in 2009, so I've had time to adjust, but this is the first year I've got eight classes spread out on five different platforms/schools and it's driving me absolutely crazy.

Yikes! That sounds really intense. Good luck! You only have to survive a couple more months, right, until spring break?

Yeah, it's nuts. I don't even know when spring break is for me, lol, tbh. I've been really busy. XD

Er. Actually, I meant summer break. I assume spring break happens in the next month or so. :p
