According to the latest Doctor Who Magazine, now out in England, former Farscape and Stargate-SG-1 actor Ben Browder has signed up to appear in an upcoming episode of Doctor Who. (...deleted for mild spoilers for DW...) Browder recently boosted his geek cred with a gust-stint during the final season of Chuck and is still attached to the upcoming noir web series Naught For Hire. The new season of Doctor Who will begin airing later this year.

LOL IKR? This guy. When he got on Stargate, he spent a month sitting on the couch watching all the back episodes. And his personality at cons is just stellar. ♥

I think I'm the only person who doesn't know Browder from Farscape, but from Stargate SG1. Awesome news, though. I loved him on SG!

See, I fell in love with him through Stargate. I'd seen Farscape, but I wasn't into it like Stargate. I watched SG-1, of course, and then watched SG cons, and that's when I really started to like him. Then I went back and rewatched Farscape and realized how awesome he was on it. *shrugs*

I will say that it's as bizarre as fuck. And it doesn't exactly make more sense as time goes on. IDK. It felt a bit like another of my favorite shows from that time, Andromeda, so I guess I connected with it.
