I'm thinking about making Spotify playlists to go with the zips of my fanmixes. I just don't know how many people actually use Spotify. I guess it wouldn't hurt?

Which isn't to say I'm making another fanmix, I'm not, honest, because that takes time and I obviously don't have any of that...*facepalm*

In other news, I went out and got three different hair colors: a blonde, an auburn/reddish brown, and a soft black. We shall see which looks best. I'm gonna try the blonde one when I get home this afternoon.

Supernatural has (naturally) made it to the second-to-last round over in E!Online's Ultimate Fan Battle, if anyone cares to vote. We're up against Disney.

Okay, so I was rewatching the sneak-peak, and something about it bugged me: Lucifer, to be exact. Remember in episode two how he tried to get Sam to off himself? Remember how he said he wasn't giving up or going anywhere?
So, why does he suddenly seem so sad that Sam's given up? He's mocking him, obviously, but he does sound at least a tiny bit genuine when he says Sam's talk of death is depressing him. So I can't help but wonder if Hallucifer has developed some kind of survival desire? Which would make things doubly twisty, because he's just a subconscious manifestation of Sam's Hell-memories. Also, why wouldn't Hallucifer want Sam to die? Does he think Sam will get into heaven(I think so, but it's more what Sam thinks)? Does he just consider all things Sam-related a game, and if Sam gives up it's no fun anymore?

To be honest, I think what we see of Sam in the preview is pretty bad. Self-harm or not(I can see either situation, but IDK if show would go there considering it's fanbase is young women and they can't really show Sam engaging in self-harm AND saying it's a bad thing you shouldn't do). I think just the fact that Sam, the unrelenting never-give-up Winchester is finally too tired says a lot about his mental state and how it's changed over the past few years(and in S7 most dramatically). I'm usually quite the Dean!girl, as you all know, but I actually identify a lot with Sam's drive and personality(idk how much of it has to do with being raised as the youngest in a family-is-everything enviroment). So it's really interesting to watch him break down and come apart like this. I can't wait for the episode to air so we can analyze what's going on in his head.

TBH, I'm looking forward to that as much as I am Cas' return.

Yeaaaahhh...I predict a not-so-difficult battle for us this round. I only worry if Buffy wins and we have to go head-to-head with the OTHER fandom juggernaut.
I'm voting for Star Wars, just because I've never seen Buffy and Star Wars will always be special for helping introduce me to the awesomeness that is...Star Wars.

I've been a Buffy girl for so many years. It's the first series I saved up money for, from birthdays and little chores, over the course of two years so I could buy all of the seasons. She's also one of the strongest female characters in a show ever, and the side characters there are amazing. PLus, genuine lesbian love. Not many would have to balls to do as Joss, and treat it as a 'normal' relationship just like every other relationship on the show.

Also- when you said that the preview of this week's episode looked 'bad', I got really D: for a moment. And then I realized you meant bad as in POOR SAMMY BB, which I can understand. And I thoroughly agree with you- as much of a Cas!girl I am, I'm so incredibly excited to see what happens to Sam in this episode. and to see what Trollucifer thinks of this too. 8D

See, I totally get that. I was that way with my first love, Stargate. I've never seen Buffy, but I'm sure it deserves it's rep, because it looks awesome.

Either way, it gonna be good, I think. I trust Sera to write Sam some good character stuff. I think it'll be good at the very least and incredible at the best.

If you ever watch it, take teh special effects with a grain of salt and loads of humor, because they're shit. But if you just conclude that the vampires look ridiculous, there's lots of fun to be had. And the humor, witty banter and characteristics are just as awesome now as they were ten years ago. (Also Spike, Anya and Cordelia are reasons alone to watch that show, imo.)

Yeah, I have faith in this ep. I mean, judging by the preview alone. It's been a long while since I've seen more awesome dialogue- which is saying something, because the dialogue has been quite good this season. But Dean and Sam having that heartbreaking moment, and you almsot crying after just a minute of watching, and then Trollucifer just slashhes a hole in that mood and somehow manages to not only make you laugh, but also feel even more sorry for the two boys. Bravo, Show. WELL PLAYED.

(Also, I'm working on revising the next chapter of The Turning Point, with my Spotify on shuffle, and on comes Exit WOunds. And I almsot start to cry when he says "lose your clothes and show your scars, it's who you are". ;_______________________; )

Exactly. The scene we got was so powerful on it's own, and that was literally just a couple minutes of the episode, and already it was ripping out your heart and showing you the desolation and manpain. It was the perfect summation of what makes SPN good, I think. If the episode is as good as that, I will be a very happy duck.

WAH. That song ;______; ♥ I love The Script so much (First Time is so good, too), but that song just screams D/C every time I listen to it because it's beautiful and heartbreaking and that confusion (I search my skin // for the entry point where love went in // and richocheted and bounced around // and left a hole when you walked out) is so perfectly them.
Also it fits Mute!Cas to a T.

That's exactly it. If the rest of the episode is on remotely the same note, it's gonna rip out our hearts and devour them messily, while cackling. And then make us wait for another week before there's any kind of resolution whatsoever. *breath hitches*

LOL, it really does. And mute!Cas even more so, in a way, because of his so-very-physical scars. And his dying of the exit wounds is very fitting for where Cas is now in the !verse, what with Dean denying him any kind of comfort or contact whatsoever. adfghgfdsfghdf BOYSSSS.

sorry to butt in but this is EXACTLY how I feel. Like I was literally almost in tears at that clip, and then Lucifer was all "awwww, you two are having a moment" and I laughed out loud REALLY VIOLENTLY.

That's totally my reaction every time: the scene draws you in, gives you this wonderful mood, and then suddenly Hallucifer's there tearing it apart and making you laugh through your tears, no matter how badly you don't want to.

I always liked Lucifer (and damn if that isn't a weird-ass thing to say) but this hallucination/troll Lucifer is just omg amazing. I said it on either the comm or Tumblr the other day, but goodness I would love if he'd stick around without, you know, psychologically traumatizing one of the main characters in a way that makes everyone uncomfortable. :(

Watchinf that clip was, to me, a little bit like watching Kick-Ass the movie. I laughed so hard in that movie, and I felt incredibly, INCREIBLY bad every time I did so. It's inappropriate humor and lampshading on it's very best.
