I haven't read anyone else's thoughts, so I have no idea how everyone else feels about it, but as a whole, it was a lot better than I anticipated.

SHE IS LIKE THE SPIRIT ANIMAL OF FANDOM. She actually reminds me of my history professor. A lot. I'm just sad that I'm nearly done. Also, Tom Ellis, sir, you are even more attractive without the crazy evilness and the whacko hair.


I still cannot find it in myself to watch the last episode of Supernatural again. ( because of aaaaangst. (beware spoilers for the last episode as well as a discussion that could be kinda triggery re: that scene with Bobby and his parents) )

So, RL update. I've been kinda absentee since Sunday. Long story short, Mum got sick again and I've been up here at the hospital with her since then. We're prolly gonna be here 'till next weekend, too. So I've got her laptop, but I'm really just chilling and watching netflix with her to keep us both happy. For those of you who do so, keep us in your prayers; she needs to get a count of at least 3 on her white blood cells before they'll let her go again, and it's at 1.7 right now. So we're definitely gonna be here through Thanksgiving. I'm going to maybe be home tonight, but I'm totally just gonna chill in front of the TV and unwind a little bit before coming back up to spend more time with her. But either way I'm gonna prolly be offline around here for a while; maybe 'till into next week. If you want to talk, you can always drop a comment or send me an email.

So that's what's happening with me. NGL, Tumblr's been seeing a lot of me the past couple days because it's so addictive easy(I helped motivate Tumblr's SPN fandom to get Jared to win the Portrait Mag contest!). In one way, her getting sick kinda fell on the best time possible, because I don't have school this week and I can spend all my time looking after her. On the other hand, I've got finals in a couple weeks, applications to work on for next year, GISHWHES, my mini big bang to finish, and a myriad of little stuff that needs to be done before the end of the year. But I'm still really glad that I get to be here for her. I'd much rather be here than her be alone. So, there's that.

And that's RL. Thankfully all the nurses here have been so incredibly nice to us both, it's amazing. And our doctor is an angel, literally. So there've definitely been upsides.


Moving into a much less serious note...because everyone knows I love a good meme, and I love my ships to a pretty unhealthy degree, so this is a nice win-win. Boo-yah. Snagged from my girl yappichick

You know what I miss?

Andromeda. I was just surfing about my collection and stumbled across an episode from S3. I know pretty much every time I go back to it I say this, but it's true. I love the universe and the premise and the ridiculous plots and crazy canon AU/AR setups and the snappy dialog. It's not the bright-burn I get for some shows(you know who you are), but more of the slow-burn love that I have for Stargate. Which makes sense, considering I started watching it the year after it started on reruns that aired right before Stargate(so, 2001, just as I was hitting my peak SG1 love).
Anyways. The point is; it's really cheesy and it's getting to be pretty dated, but it had fantastic potential and a huge, expansive universe.

I totally need to rewatch.


In other news; I've still got to watch the latest Merlin. I've kinda been eaten whole by Community(ABED, COME, LET ME LOVE YOU, BOY), right now, so...there's that holding me up. Oh, and, y'know, RL. Silly things like school, work, etc. Ugh. Sorry I haven't been around much, guys! The weekend was crazy with playing catch-up. I'm trying to unwind on my off-hours by picspaming two of my favorite gorgeous things(Dean and the Impala) and watching far too much Community and Big Bang Theory.

I asked this over at merlin_finders, but I figure some of y'all on my flist might know where I could find these...so, because I'm lazy, the c+p from my post over there.

I've searched everywhere I can think of to find this picture, with no luck, and so I was hoping one of you lovely people might be able to help. It's a promotional image, with Arthur in chainmail with his sword leaning on his shoulder, and he's smiling. Any help with that is amazing! <3

And another general request; I'm looking for any pics of Arthur or Bradley smiling. High quality is preferred, but anything is super awesome. The only thing I don't want is pictures with Bradley's scruff, but otherwise I'm looking for anything. Thank you so much for anyone who can help with either of these! :)

I'm finally getting around to trying to make a manip...and for the life of me I can't find a good pic of Arthur or Bradley smiling! It's pretty sad...all the promo images of Arthur are him looking ~tough, and Bradley doesn't go to many events like Angel, so that's a no-go...arg. Yeah. Aside from not being able to find a good pic for Arthur, it's starting to look pretty dang good, I think. For a first try, that is.

First off, I TAKE BACK EVERYTHING I SAID ABOUT ANDROMEDA S4 NOT BEING VERY GREAT. It has Steve Bacic in it! (well, the last 3/4...before that it was rather not-so-good) Yeah, I think it says a lot about my fangirlish nature that an entire season can be redeemed by a hot new guy and a ship that I jumped on faster than Harper/Rommie.
So, it looks like I shouldn't say what I don't like, 'cause it's gonna come back and make me like it.
Anywho, on to day twelve.

Day 12 - An episode you've watched more than 5 times
This amuses me to no end, 'cause on several shows (Stargate SG-1, SGA, Doctor Who(S5), Merlin, Primeval, Sherlock, Sanctuary, etc.) I've seen ALL of the episodes more than five times. Still. I can name a few off the top of my head; Window of Opportunity, Unending (SG-1), The Last Man, Rising, Conversion (SGA), Sweet Dreams, The Last Dragonlord (Merlin), The Pandorica Opens/The Big Bang, The Eleventh Hour, (DWS5-I don't think I could list all the Doctor/Rose eps I've watched 5+ times lol)...and so you get the idea. On some I've watched the episodes a dozen times and I'm still not tired of it/love it (SG-1 FTW!).
