I want to write meta on Shawn's relationships and why he's the way he is with Juliet and all his relationships in general.

Jan. 25th, 2012 12:48 amOn the 1st, I will be getting my first haircut in over two years...and my first hair-cut where I got rid of this length since I was a pre-teen.
This is slightly terrifying. But also exciting. I know, don't ask me to pick one. I've decide that this pic of Hannah is what I'm going to be taking for her to check up. And I need to fill out the Locks For Love form, but I'm pretty much just stuck waiting 'till then.
Finally am listening to Ceremonials, and it is glorious, because, hello, it is F+TM. And I am THIS CLOSE to finishing Psych, after delaying for so long. NGL, it's so I can get onto Castle, which is now waiting longingly for my attention. \o/
ALSO, LOOK. THIS IS HILARIOUS:

Birthday report will be up when I'm not falling down tired and have a spare moment. Spent the morning and most of the afternoon at work, and then we had practice at church early, so I was home for a grand total of fifteen minutes between 8am and 9pm. Ugh.
But as for my birthday, suffice it to say that I had lots of fun. We just stayed home and hung out, and it was good. I'm sad that the cake is magically disappearinginto my tummy.
In the meantime, have a holiday love meme! You know you want to go tell me how much you love my dorky self.
Unrelated news, but I'm considering re-reading or trying to get back into Star Wars, specifically the books. It kills me to watch what happens after(and during) the Yuuzhan Vong War, but I've always loved everything that lead up to the war...so I might give it a go. In all my spare time. When I'm not watching Psych or Sanctuary or Burn Notice or the myriad of other shows I'm behind on. WHY SCHOOL, WHY CAN'T I JUST WATCH TV ALL DAY LONG ALL THE TIME.
(I just added a random new friend, so if you're reading this, hi, new friend! Your username is what reminded me that I wanted to get back into Star Wars, so thanks for that! But I also added you because you seem pretty cool too.)

I'm hooked on Psych. It's so awesome. Watched the pilot and first couple of episodes last night, and they were fantastic. It's just the right balance between hilarious and ridiculous and awesome. :D
Anddd...I dl'd the episodes of Sanctuary I haven't seen this season. Apparently Tesla's in one, and I kinda like being all caught up, even if I'm not at all as into it as I was.
Finally! There is some absolutely fantastic meta and talk over here about Supernatural 708. If you're into objectively examining fandom or offering your opinions on it, gooooo check it out. The original post does a pretty good job of laying out the situation and asking questions that cut pretty well to the heart of fandom's issues with what happened. And the variety of responses is fascinating from an observational point of view.fandom can have an active discussion without falling apart into ugliness!
